"T.C. Pfeiler´s Jazzid Funk" was founded in 1996 in Vienna / Austria by Austria´s only international Hammond Jazz-organist T.C. Pfeiler as a "band of bandleaders". Originally "T.C. Pfeiler´s Jazzid Funk" was a quintet with Hammond organ, saxophone, guitar, drums & percussion.

Over the years "T.C. Pfeiler´s Jazzid Funk" saw prominent members of the Austrian Jazz, Funk, Soul, Blues and Rock scene:  the guitarists Christian Havel, Claus Spechtl, Rudi Renger and Peter Legat (Mr. Count Basic himself), the saxophonists Martin Fuss, Herb Berger and Harry Sokal, the drummers Joris Dudli and Tommy Boeroecz, the percussionists Stephan Maass, Andi Steirer and Luis Ribeiro and the vocalists Stella Jones and Ines Reiger. T.C. Pfeiler still plays his own bass line at the organ. No bass player is necessary.

The band plays a hot mix of Jazz, Funk, Soul, Rhythm & Blues, ballads and Latin-Jazz, originals by T.C. Pfeiler and well known standards.

Today "T.C. Pfeiler´s Jazzid Funk" primary works as a trio with Hammond B3 organ, guitar and drums.

"T.C. Pfeiler´s Jazzid Funk" is still available as a quintet or sextett for special events.

"T.C. Pfeiler´s Jazzid Funk Trio" personnel for 2010:

T.C. Pfeiler - Hammond B3 organ, Peter Legat (Mr. Count Basic himself) - guitar & Tommy Boeroecz - drums

Additional personnel on request: Harry Sokal - tenor & sopranosax, Stephan Maass - percussion, Ines Reiger - vocal.

Note the rotating psychedelic disc mounted on top of a Leslie 145 organ speaker! Is´s a dangerous optical hypnotizer!
